What is distance learning?

Distance Learning is a self study method that allows you to study at your own pace using our online study materials, a wide range of resources online and superb tutor support at your own convenience.

What are your exam pass rates?

Our pass rates are currently 90% – 100% across all courses ~ well in excess of the overall national average.

How will work experience benefit me?

Having a qualification is a tremendous asset when it comes to making yourself more employable, but it’s not the only way to stand out to potential employers. Work experience is an important part of becoming ‘workplace-ready’.

Work experience provides many benefits, giving you skills and experience that will allow you stand out to potential employers.

How long do the courses take?

This depends on your choice of course and how fast you would like to learn. A full breakdown of the course syllabus is available in your course introduction page. We can however provide estimated number of study hours; ask our course advisors for further details.

Can I pay by instalments?

You can pay instalments on the full cost, however please note we cannot accept payments for deposits or registration fees in instalments, these fees need to be paid in full at your initial stage of enrolment.

Can I study more than one course at a time?

Yes, and by studying this way, you create a steady flow of work for yourself. Many of our courses are complementary to each other. Our students usually start with one course, find how easy it is to study online and move on to another one.

Will I get a tutor with my course?

Yes, You will be allocated a tutor who will guide you through the course, check your assignments and help you with any problems you may have.

Your course tutors can be contacted via email and telephone.

If I fail an exam can I retake it?

Yes, you will be asked to retake your exam and the tutor will give you support as to where you could improve.

Will I get a qualification/certificate at the end?

Yes, for all our courses, you will receive a recognised qualification from the body of your course.

Course certifications will not be issued until the student/candidate has covered the full cost of their training this includes any payment plans arranged prior to enrolment.

How quickly will I receive my study material?

Once your payment has cleared your enrolment should be processed within 24 hours and your course materials delivered the next working day, customers who choose to pay in instalments need to send a signed agreement back before we send the course materials.

Are there any further costs involved?

No, once the training fee has been paid there are no further fees involved for the online training, however, there is a fee for optional software and fast track accreditations from third parties may incur examination fees. Speak with a consultant for further information and they will be delighted to discuss these fees in further detail.

Do I have to buy any other materials?

Our comprehensive course materials are designed to be self-contained with all the relevant information you require to complete the course and gain the relevant certification. However, some of our students undertake additional reading via relevant textbooks/study guides and/or the Internet to add value to their studies.

How do I enrol?

The enrolment application process can be accessed by clicking on the secure online registration form. Or alternatively you are welcome to print out the registration form and post it back to us. If you use any of the debit or credit cards you are welcome to phone in or fax your enrolment.

Can I cancel my course and request a refund?

Yes, valid refunds will be processed within 21 working days upon receipt of returned unmarked and undamaged items in a resalable condition. In line with The Consumer Rights Act 2015, you also have a 14 day right to change your mind and get a full refund.

What is the duration of my career programme?

The programme duration is for 6 months from the date of your enrolment, although the programme can be completed before this period we offer more time for flexibility.

What is remote work experience?

Milton Row’s remote work experience offers a flexible solution for candidates that may have to attend to their jobs, studies, family responsibilities or have other commitments. We know that not everyone can commit to working in-house so have developed a practical solution for all.

If you are someone who fits into the category above we have arranged our work experience to be delivered remotely. With this, you can gain work experience and the skills needed to boost your CV without having to leave your current job or giving up on your existing commitments.

When you enrol with Milton Row and complete your training, we will connect you with one of our partner companies. The company will be your point of reference and will provide you with the work experience, work reference and all the support you need to boost your career. The great thing about remote work experience is that you can do it at home, in the library, or wherever you are in the world. This should enable you to gain work experience on the go.

Remote work experience is a non-paid opportunity. As this will partake on a remote basis, you are in control of the number of hours you render. Ultimately, you will gain experience and transferable skills that are relevant to the role/job you would like to pursue.
